2892758 - Unable to connect to SQL Anywhere database - Data Services

Symptom

  • Install SQL Anywhere client successfully on the Data Services machine. 
  • Attempt to connect to the database in the Data Services Repository Manager will fail with the following error.
    Error " BODI-320006: Cannot open connection to the repository."
    Error " ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <> failed with error" <[SAP][ODBC Driver][SQL Anywhere]Specified database not found>. Use the ODBCDriverSelector (windows) or DSConnectionManager.sh (unix) utility in LINK_DIR/bin to configure the correct version of the driver."
  • The ODBCDriverSelector.exe lists the SQL Anywhere ODBC driver as installed state.
