2893923 - "Jump to" function raises error message BRAIN643

You try to "Jump to" App Cost Centers - Actuals  from App Journal Entry Analyzer. You get error saying "Value 'XXXXXXXX' for variable G/L Account(Node) is invalid".

1. Goto App Journal Entry Analyzer
2. With the right mouse click the amount of any primary cost account, click "Jump to" function into App Cost Centers - Actuals

Unfortunately there is a technical limitation in navigation between two Fiori Apps.

Please see Note 2404704 that explains the limits of the navigation between Fiori Apps. - When navigating between 2 FPM based analytical applications available parameters get “lost”.
This is happening when the navigation is triggered from a hierarchy node in the source App.
The navigation mechanism in Fiori Launchpad is Intent-Based Navigation (IBN) which supports only <Semantic Object> = <Value> parameters. If we use  pared characteristics in the prompt of receiving application (e.g. G/L Hierarchy and G/L Account Node), one of them (G/L Hierarchy) gets lost.

Workaround1: after navigation to CCA and receiving the error, manually delete prompt by "G/L Account (Node)" and refresh it with "Go" button.
Workaround2: create a variant for App Journal Entry Analyzer and use an "Alternative G/L Account" instead of "G/L Account". Upon navigation, this parameter AlternativeGLAccount will be simply ignored by receiving application. The App displays a bigger scope for analysis without raising an error. Then you could manually re-apply filter by G/L Account in App Cost Centers - Actuals.
