2894375 - Training Failed Status in Machine Learning Model

You notice that a Machine Learning Model has the status Training Failed and would like to understand why this happened.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Navigate to Administrator work center.
2. Navigate to Prediction Services work center view.
3. Click Model Setup.
4. Select the model you are working with.
5. See the Status is Training Failed.

The Training Failed status is set when the data quantity and quality is not sufficient as advised in the machine learning guides.

Please ensure that at least 1000 relevant historical records (Opportunities, or Leads in case of Machine Learning for Sales or Tickets, in case of Machine Learning for Service) from last 12 months exist. As this is the minimum amount of data needed to get a statistically significant prediction and to ensure the model training works.
