2895045 - New Integration Deployment Workflow for Boomi Platform

Symptom

Starting with the March 2020 release, Boomi will begin rolling out significant changes to the integration deployment screens and workflow. Changing UI screens and user workflows can take some adjustment and deploying processes and components is one of the core actions within the application.

Q1. How to Prepare for Integration Packaged Component Deployments [March 2020]?

Q2. Would existing Integration deployment be impacted?
Ans. No. there would not be any impact on existing deployment.

Q3. Would this deployment UI change be pushed automatically to all account?
Ans. No. There would be a "self service" switch available by 14th March,2020 and customer can enable the same. However, if not done by customers then Boomi would push the changes in September as per the schedule on 12th September, 2020.

Q4. Would deployment of existing standard Integration pack be impacted?
Ans. No. Changes will impact new deployments.

Q5. How do I convert my account?
Ans. For legacy deployment accounts, you will convert your account via Setup > Account Features. This setting is only available to administrators or users with the Administer Account privilege. Keep in mind this setting is for the entire account and is not a per-user preference.

Q6. Can changes be reverted to legacy deployment once converted?
Ans. IMPORTANT: After converting your account, you will not be able to revert back to legacy deployments.

Q7. How does it work if customer/Partner has multiple sub-account?
Ans. For partners and customers with multiple sub-accounts, converting the parent account does not convert the sub-accounts. You can convert each account individually or for organizations with a large number of sub-accounts, please contact customersuccess@boomi.com to discuss options for bulk conversion.
