2895408 - Cannot select Number of Cores in SWPM dialog for ASE Database

Symptom

  • Installing NetWeaver based SAP system via SWPM on ASE database.
  • Trying to set the parameter "Number of Cores" the at the dialog "SAP ASE Database System Parameters":

  • If any number higher than 1 is defined, the error "Maximum number of cores is 1" is reported:

  •  If number 1 is added, the error "Minimum number of cores is 2" is reported:
