2895408 - Cannot select Number of Cores in SWPM dialog for ASE Database

Symptom

During Define Parameters phase in SWPM for NetWeaver on ASE Database installation, the following dialog screen is shown:

Independently on how "Number of Cores" parameter is set, you get an error message like the following:

  1. Setting "Number of Cores" for any number higher than 1, the following error ("Maximum number of cores is 1") is raised:

  1. setting "Number of Cores" to 1, the following error ("Minimum number of cores is 2") is raised:
