2895460 - OAuth2 Client Application - Getting error This User ID is not a Technical User ID

When using "Bind to Technical User" checkbox in OAuth2 Client Application, the error below occured:

 "This User ID is not a Technical User ID."

 SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1.   Go to Manage OAuth2 Client Applications
2. Fill up the required fields
3. Tick the checbox for the option Bind to Technical user
4. Input any active Bizx user 
5. After clicking save, the error appeared

"This User ID is not a Technical User ID."

 The Technical User in OAuth2 Client Applications configuration means the system defined technical user used for integration like Fiori Inbox feature.

The "Bind to Technical User" is an option to restrict the access of the application to a technical user. A technical user is a special user created for integrating SAP SuccessFactors with other SAP products and solutions. Refer to About Technical User for more information.

A technical user is a special user created for integrating SAP SuccessFactors with other SAP products and solutions.

A technical user is generated duing data migration process of the existing instances, or when a new instance is created. It is not a real person, and will be granted permissions to access data required for integration using APIs.

Please note that a technical user cannot be purged in the system or exported using Employee Export, or API. It won't be included in reports. You cannot use technical user to log into SAP SuccessFactors.

We recommend customer to not use technical user related feature in OAuth2 Client Applications if the OAuth confiugration is not for Fiori Inbox.
