2895657 - When registering for a class, there is no option to enter a comment

When a user registers for a class, the "Registration Comments" section is no longer available if approval is not required. Only when approval is required, user can enter comments.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Access Learning as a user and proceed with the registration into a class >
2. While submitting a registration, there is no option to add a comment if approval is not required >
   
   
3. Only when the approval is required, user can select an approver and enter comments.
   
   

That is the expected behavior, as the comments field is no longer supported by Course Home functionality when approval is not required.

It is possible to use the registration form instead of comments. For further details on that, please review SAP Help Portal - Adding Special Requests to a Class.

Alternatively, to have a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request (as per KBA 2090228) created for it, where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
