2895939 - How to Import Goal Comments via Beta Goal/ Development Goal Import

This article explains how to import Goal Comments to the Goal Plan via the Beta Goal Import file.

• In the Goal Import file, Goal Comments are entered on their own row with the type of "OBJCOMMENT".
• Similar to the behavior of goal comments through the UI, goal comments cannot be updated or deleted through import.
• Goal comments can only be added.

In the import file, use the "Type" OBJCOMMENT and the "Action" ADD:

• The column OBJCOMMENT_comments maps to the field-definition id="comments". 
• The goal comment (OBJCOMMENT) row will only have an entry in the OBJCOMMENT_comments column.

Note: 

• Importing Employee and Manager comments is currently not supported with the existing functionality. 
• The system has no way of specifying from whom the comments are coming from with the import file (e.g. Manager or Employee comments), or at what time the comment has been given by that user.
