Symptom

  • A process running REORG WITH ONLINE hangs.
  • Errorlog contains the following message together with a stacktrace:

ERROR in plc__discard() for plc <address> with MLDML lrs_to_discard(<non-zero-number>) for dbid <database-id> is not between 0 and plc_count(0).

  • The stacktrace includes modules:

plc_hang_spid
plc__discard
xls_discard_plc
onlutl__apply_insdel_lr
rbld__table_via_amc
reorg_main
