Symptom

An error message or unexpected behavior occurs whilst using the Live Universe Connector in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), it is required to enable tracing to gather more details on the issue.

  • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.x (BI 4.1 / 4.2 / 4.3)
  • Live Data Connect (LDC) 3.x 
  • Windows
  • Linux / Unix

Resolution

LUC 3.x

  1. Set the logs.level to Medium or High 
  2. The log should be in subfolder "logs" where LUC was installed
