2897594 - Extra page is printed with text @PJL JOB NAME= "$(SYSTEM)-$(SPOOLID)-$(DRUCKAUFTRAG)" by particular printers

Symptom

When printing with PCL device types e.g. HPLJCM1, an extra page is printed with PJL command like in below, the issue only happens by some paticular printer models.

  • For ABAP List spools:

    @PJL JOB NAME= "$(SYSTEM)-$(SPOOLID)-$(DRUCKAUFTRAG)"

  • For OTF spools(created by Smart Form or SAPScript form):

    %-12345X@PJL
    @PJL JOB NAME= "$(SYSTEM)-$(SPOOLID)-$(DRUCKAUFTRAG)"
    @PJL ENTER LANGUAGE=PCL
