Symptom

  • When printing with PCL device types (such as HPLJCM1 or HPLJIIID), an extra page is printed with PJL commands.
  • This issue only happens with some particular printer models.
  • ABAP List spool example:
    @PJL JOB NAME= "$(SYSTEM)-$(SPOOLID)-$(DRUCKAUFTRAG)"
  • OTF spool example(created by Smart Form or SAPScript form):
    %-12345X@PJL
    @PJL JOB NAME= "$(SYSTEM)-$(SPOOLID)-$(DRUCKAUFTRAG)"
    @PJL ENTER LANGUAGE=PCL
