2897971 - Direct Link sends user to Admin Center in BizX instead of destination within LMS

Symptom

When an admin creates a direct link within LMS it redirects the user to the Admin Center in BizX, instead of the destination selected for LMS

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to System Administration > System Management Tools > Generate Direct Link
  2. For this example select 'Learning History' as the Direct Link Type
  3. Generate direct link by selecting 'Display Link'
  4. When you use this direct link it now sends the user to the Admin Center page on BizX

Cause

The Direct Link configuration settings are incorrectly set within LMS

Resolution

  1. Navigate to System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > BIZX
  2. Search for successFactorsDeepLinkPath
  3. Note that the value is set to /sf/admin
  4. Update this to /sf/learning and save changes
  5. Generate the direct link again, it will now bring the user to their Learning History
