Symptom

  • Unable to access Central Management Server (CMC) and BI LaunchPad (BILP) after Applying security Patch on WebLogic Server.
  • The issue is observed after applying Security patch(PSU) number – 30463097
  • Get the following error in weblogic access logs : 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <> <1580799478431> <BEA-101020> <[ServletContext@221684113       [app:BOE       module:BOE path:/BOE spec-version:2.5]] Servlet failed with Exception
    java.lang.NullPointerException'
  • Get the following error after accesing the CMC/BI Launchpad URL : 'HTTP 500--Internal Server Error
    From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1: 10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error'
