Environment

Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to administrator work center
  2. Go to Prediction services
  3. Click Model Setup for Machine Learning Models
  4. Click view report for Opportunity Scoring
  5. In the opened report, there're 2 check factors named as Average Number of Changes in History and Average Lifetime of Change History.

Resolution

1) Average Number of Changes in History: This refers to the average count of updates made to data fields that influence predictions, such as sales phase, close date, revenue, etc. This average is calculated using a one-year data set, which is the target data set for model training.
2) Average Lifetime of Change History: This refers to the average number of days between the first activity date (typically the date of data entry) and the last activity date (usually when the lifecycle status is updated to "Won" or "Lost"). This is also calculated using a one-year data set, which is the target data set for model training. Please note, this number is not 2 in the customer tenant, refer to the readiness report for more details.

The readiness check is a preliminary assessment that evaluates the quality of data from the perspective of building a prediction model in the customer tenant. You can proceed with model training as long as there is sufficient data volume for one year. After training, the model will provide information about its performance qualities, including predictive power and predictive confidence.
