Symptom
- BR*Tools fails with ORA-00942 on table SYS.SEG$, although the table exists in the database.
Following is an example for BRCONNECT:
BR0280I BRCONNECT time stamp: ***
BR0301E SQL error -942 at location BrLicCheck-177, SQL statement:
'SELECT COUNT(*), NVL(SUM(BLOCKS), 0) FROM SYS.SEG$ WHERE USER# = <n>'
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
- Or
BR0301E SQL error -942 at location BrDbConnect-10, SQL statement:
'SELECT INSTANCE_NAME, INSTANCE_NUMBER, NVL(HOST_NAME, ' '), NVL(VERSION, ' '), NVL(STATUS, ' '), NVL(LOGINS, ' '), NVL(ARCHIVER, ' '), NVL(PARALLEL, ' '), NVL(TO_NUMBER(TO_CHAR(STARTUP_TIME, 'YYYYMMDDHH24MISS')), 0), TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'YYYYMMDDHH24MISS') FROM V$INSTANCE'
