2899238 - Remove Post Update Button from Account

Symptom

You want to disable the post feed update functionality from account but you do not see an option from adaptation.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Customers workcenter
  2. Go to Accounts view
  3. Select show all and find for ABC (ABC represents the name of the account
  4. Select Start Adaptation

You do see an option to disable or hide the Post Update icon for feed, as shown below

Resolution

This is an expected system behavior. If JAM is not integrated, this button will be always shown and if JAM is integrated then this button won’t come up except in Employee.
