2899301 - User receives Approval Notification for another user's Sales Quote

Symptom

User A receives Approval Notification for user B's Sales Quote. User A is not a substitute for user B.

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales workcenter.
  2. Go to the Sales Quotes view.
  3. Open any Sales Quote with Approval Process set up for user B.
  4. Submit for Approval.
  5. User B is listed in the Approval facet and user A gets a notification.

Cause

User A is assigned to user B for Notification of Delegates, defined in Administrator > Notification of Delegates. This does not get listed in the Delegates workcenter.

Resolution

If you don't want user A to receive the Approval Notification for user B, please remove it from Notification of Delegates.

Check Delegates in the Delegates view:

  1. Go to the Administration work centre.
  2. Go to the Delegates view.
