2901063 - Offer Letter rules are not triggering for forwarded candidates

You have setup an offer letter rule on the Job Application, such as the "Rule for Candidate Decision on Offer Letter" rule.

The rule is working correctly for candidates who have applied to the requisition, but does not appear to trigger for candidates who have not applied themselves.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management.

1. Setup an offer letter rule, as shown in the following KBA: 2860149 - "Business Rules for Offer Approval and Offer Letter"
2. Accept or reject the offer letter as a candidate who has applied to the requisition themselves, and notice that the rule works correctly
3. Accept or reject the offer letter as a non-applicant, and notice that the rule does not trigger

This is the expected behaviour. Offer Letter rules to change the status of the applicant are currently not supported for non-applicants. Only applicants who have at one point applied themselves to the requisition will be moved by the rule.

For the rule to trigger, please ensure that the applicant has applied to the requisition before they accept or reject the offer letter.

For these non-applicants who were not moved by the rule, please consider changing their status manually.
