2901764 - The New Button is Greyed Out in the Sales Order Facet of the Registered Product


It is not possible to create new sales order from the sales order facet of registered product.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Installed Base work center.
  2. Go to the Registered Product view.
  3. Search and open registered product LMN (where LMN represent the registered product id).
  4. Go to the Sales Order facet.
  5. You can see the New button is greyed out and so not possible to create new sales order from here.


Creation of sales order from sales order facet in registered product screen is not supported and that's the reason why the new button is been disabled.


It is not supported to create new sales order from registered product's sales order facet and this is the current system behavior.
