2902060 - Why the temporary files created by DBSL to handle data loads from DTO into IQ are excessively large

Symptom

When LOAD_STRIPE_WIDTH parameter is configured to a value n > 1 in RSDANLCON, it directs the IQ DBSL to write and append all data records of a Data Package round-robin to those n files (.dat) in the local file system of the current application server. You would like to understand why those .dat temporary files created have a large size.

As sample: loading big data around 600 GB and LOAD_STRIPE_WIDT=4, it generates more than 588GB of temporary files with each of these files with 147GB size.
