2902555 - How Business Field Restriction Works for 'CUST_ROLE and CUST_PROSPECT_INDICATOR

Symptom

How business fields Prospect radio button in quick create account screen and Role field in account header screen can be restricted

Environment

SAP Cloud for customer

Resolution

  1. Go to the Administrator workcenter.
  2. Go to the General settings view.
  3. Select the require user ID.
  4. Click Edit > Access Rights.
  5. Go to the Field & Actions tab.
  6. Add row under Business Field Restriction.
  7. Add 'CUST_ROLE' to restrict the field role in account header screen.
  8. Add 'CUST_PROSPECT_INDICATOR' to restrict the prospect field in account quick create screen.
