2903152 - Short dump DBSQL_ARGUMENT_ERROR in HR programs

Symptom

  1. When running an HR application, the execution ends with the following short dump:
    • Runtime Errors DBSQL_ARGUMENT_ERROR
    • Exception CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB  
    • Form is PRE_POPULATE_PERNRS
  1. If you check the error in SM21, the following is displayed:
    • Message ID: BYK
    • Category: Database
    • Message Text: SQL statement violates database system restriction
  1. And this in ST11:
    • C  *** ERROR => too many input values (&) - maximum is 2000
  1. The database being used is MaxDB
