2903695 - Error While Uploading Solution Template:Solution is in development Deployment activities are not allowed

You are getting below errors while trying to upload the Solution Template to your customer specific solution(CSS) or multi customer solution(MCS) of the same tenant.

Solution is in development.Deployment activities are not allowed

The upload to the repository failed.

1. Login to SDK.
2. Open the CSS or MCS to which you want to upload the Solution Template.
3. Go to Implementation Manager.
4. Click on upload button.
5. Browse and upload the ZIP file for the solution temaplate which you have downloaded earlier.
6. Upload failed with the mentioned errors.

Solution Template should be uploaded when the current solution is in development only, however still the error is occuring because you have used wrong upload button.

In Implementation manager there are 2 upload buttons. One is for the normal customer solution upload, which can be done only when the solution is in deployed status(not in development, that's why the error occurs which is misleading).

For Solution Template upload there is a seperate button, with a green plus symbol on it. Once you choose this upload option you will be able to upload the solution template successfully to your solution.
