2903747 - PDF of financial statement only display the "Period Balance" data when using the app Balance Sheet / Income Statement

PDF of financial statement can't display all columns data when using the app Balance Sheet / Income Statement. In other words, you can see Column “Period Balance”, ”Comparison Balance”, “Absolute Difference”, “Relative Difference” in the app, however, only "Period Balance" can be displayed in the PDF Preview.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Run app Balance Sheet / Income Statement
2. Input parameters via the filter bar and click Go
3. Select "All accounts" tab (or "Balance Sheet"/"Profit &Loss") and click "Export to PDF" button
4. A popup window is shown. Select "Show G/L accounts" and "OK"
5. You can check the PDF Preview

Your table layout settings, unlike your app filter bar settings, are not applied to the PDF preview. The function of the PDF creation is not to print what the user has configured in the table in the app. The function here is that a pixel-perfect template is filled with the data, which the user has requested via the filter bar. That means that the filter settings have an impact on what is shown in the PDF, but the table layout is not taken into account. During the creation, the user can only decide, whether the accounts should be part of the PDF or not.

This is a standard behavior. If you are more interested in the plain data instead of a predefined PDF, you should use the app “Balance Sheet/Income Statement – Multidimensional”(App ID F3084), where you can export the data to EXCEL.
