2904023 - You do not have 'BPE Task Execution' permission to set [user] as service user. - Onboarding

The following error occurs when attempting to update the process flows via Admin Center > Update Process Flows for Onboarding and Offboarding:

Error occurred: You do not have 'BPE Task Execution' permission to set [user] as service user.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Update Process Flows for Onboarding and Offboarding
2. Select Process Flows:
   
   • Onboarding and Offboarding
   • Onboarding Only
   • Offboarding Only
3. Select Service User
4. Update
5. Error occurred: You do not have 'BPE Task Execution' permission to set [user] as service user.

• The selected Service User has not been created and/or is not assigned to the OnboardingBPEServiceUser group.
• The user performing the update on behalf of the Service User does not have the required BPE Task Execution permission.

1. Validation:
   1. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Permission Groups
   2. Group Name: OnboardingBPEServiceUser
   3. Verify whether the Service User has been added and confirm if there are any members assigned.
   4. If no users are currently added, please add the appropriate Service User to this group.
2. Granting 'BPE Task Execution' permission:
   1. Navigate to Admin Center > Proxy Management
   2. Under Make Assignments
   3. Grant Proxy:
      
      • Who will act as the proxy(username): <User you are currently logged in as>
      • What account holder will the proxy act on behalf of (username): <Service User or SFADMIN>
   4. Grant Proxy Rights:
      • Grant rights to the following modules/tabs: BPE Task Execution
   5. Save
3. Updating the Process Flows:
   1. Navigate to Admin Center > Update Process Flows for Onboarding and Offboarding
   2. Select Process Flows:
      
      • Onboarding and Offboarding
      • Onboarding Only
      • Offboarding Only
   3. Select Service User
   4. Update
