2904999 - "Use Today's Date" not showing on Date fields - Recruiting Management

The option "Use Today's Date" inside a date field is not showing for fields in Recruiting.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Create a new Date type field on any recruiting template (Candidate Profile/Application/Job Requisition);
2. Access the instance and click on the field to select a Date;
3. Notice that the option to select today's date is not available:
   

In Recruiting Management we don't have any sort of control over the fields that will or will not show the "Use today's date" option on the date calendar. The fields from Recruiting standard or custom do not have the option to get the current date.

You might find a couple of fields that have this option in Job Requisitions, like "Form Due Date" for example. This is because that field is inherited from the Form which is a Performance Management tool.
