2905085 - Clipboard error when excel file upload using FM ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE

Symptom

  • While uploading excel file, you get error : "There is a large amount of information on the Clipboard. Do you want to be able to paste this information into another program later?"
  • A pop-up window from Microsoft Office Excel shows following information:
    *******************************************************
    There is a large amount of information on the Clipboard. Do
    you want to be able to paste this information into another
    program later?
    - To save it on the Clipboard so that you can paste it later,  click Yes.
    - To delete if from Clipboard and free memory, click No.
    *******************************************************
  • The function module used for upload excel file is "ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE".
