2905472 - SAPGUI Transaction Launcher in same window in Chrome and Edge not working

Symptom

  • Opening a SAP GUI transaction launcher from the Web UI within the same Chrome browser window, or the same Edge Chromium browser window, does not work 
  • It produces a launchborinsapgui pop-up, but nothing happens after that.
  • The same SAPGUI launcher opens fine within the same Internet Explorer browser window
