Resolution
Previously, jobs could only be viewed via Provisioning > Manage Scheduled Jobs page, and this required customers to either reach out to Support or their partner / consultant for them to view and monitor the jobs existing in the instance.
Scheduled Job Manager in Admin Center provides customer administrators self-service access to some job types and some actions.
Pre-requisites:
- To access the Scheduled Job Manager tool in Admin Center to view jobs you need the Admin Center Permissions > Monitor Scheduled Jobs permission.
- To access the Scheduled Job Manager tool in Admin Center to create, submit, run, edit, cancel, and / or delete jobs, you need the Admin Center Permissions > Manage Scheduled Jobs permission.
Using "Schedule Job Manager" tool
The following section of Implementation Guide details the usage (creating, running, monitoring Jobs) of the Scheduled Job Manager tool:

Is it possible to restrict jobs displaying for users in "Scheduled Job Manager" tool?
Starting on 1H 2024 Release, two new tabs (All Jobs and My Jobs) are available in Job Monitor and Job Scheduler. It is now possible to control access of scheduled job administrators to all job requests, or just the job requests created, owned, or last modified by themselves.
A new permission is now available: Admin Center Permissions > Restrict Access to Other Administrators’ Jobs in Scheduled Job Manager. This permission controls the display of the All Jobs and My Jobs tabs and prevents unnecessary access if the end user shouldn't check related data.
- If the admin users have this permission, the admin users will only see their own jobs and the new tabs will not be displayed.
- If the admin users don't have this permission, the admin users will see the new tabs.
For more information, please refer to User Experience Enhancements to Scheduled Job Manager.
New columns added in the feature:
Three new columns, Created By, Last Modified By, and Last Modification Time, are added to Scheduled Job Manager starting on 1H2024 release. If you are not able to see them, please ensure the columns are selected as per below:
- Access Scheduled Job Manager
- From the Job Scheduler tab, select the gears icon indicating the "settings" from the right
- From there, you can select the columns to have displayed.
Which information we can check on the View Job Details page in Scheduled Job Manager ?
We can see the Job definition section (including: Job request ID, Job name, Job type, Job owner name, Creation details), Job occurrence, Notification details (including Recipients email address, Email trigger options)
Note : The Scheduled Job Manager supports limiting the occurrence and recurrence of certain types of scheduled jobs. These can be One-Time, Recurring, or Dependent Of. When you're creating a job request now you can choose a job type that only supports a one-time occurrence, you'll only see the One-Time option available. The other two options, Recurring and Dependent Of, become grayed out. See help guide : Help Guide
