2906073 - Copy position workflow screen is different than creation workflow - Employee Central

When Creating a new position a workflow is triggered and the approver is showed in the screen. However the same not happens when copying a position, just a message saying that workflow is pending approval text appears.

• Position Management

1. Go to Position Org Chart
2. On the "Sandwich" icon click on Copy Position button
3. Click on Ok button

Result: The following positions were created:
*Position number (workflow approval pending)

This is expected behavior for the system.

The system acts differently when copying and creating a new position, when copying position system just show that a workflow exist for this action, and you will be able to find this workflow on manage workflow requests.

If this is not the desired behavior an enhancement request can be submitted to improve this functionality.
