2906954 - Formatted Text-type Extension Field Can't Be Added to the OWL

You have a previously created or are trying to create a new Formatted Text-type extension field. Then, you try to add it to the OWL (Object Work List) of a Business Object and notice that the field isn't showing up on the Add Field screen.

This type of field needs a special control that consumes more space than available in a list cell. Hence, it's not possible to add fields of this type to a table view list or OWL.

For existing users who have added it already, we are recommending to remove such fields from these locations as it could lead to system performance issues.

This is the standard behavior of the system.
