Symptom

  • Error: "Failed to retrieve the cube for connection .... (ERROR: INF DSL 00000)" in Web Intelligence document and other SAP Business Objects tools using the BICS interface.
  • In Information Design Tool, the following error is displayed when testing the connection: "Error: Provider Selection Object: Initialization Issue".
