2907397 - ABAP Runtime Error on saving Sales Document

Symptom

On creating a Sales Order through the app Create Sales Orders, the system results in an ABAP runtime error RAISE_EXCEPTION with the Short Text 'Exception condition CURRENCY_CONVERSION_ERROR triggered'.

Environment

  • Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM)
  • SAP S/4HANA Finance
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to app Create Sales Orders.
  2. Mention the input parameters.
  3. Save the entry.
  4. System results in ABAP runtime error RAISE_EXCEPTION with the Short Text 'Exception condition CURRENCY_CONVERSION_ERROR triggered'.

Cause

The standard quotation for the exchange rate for the particular currency pair hasn't been maintained accordingly resulting in the error.

Resolution

  1. Go to app Manage Your Solution.
  2. Select the configuration step Define Standard Quotation for Exchange Rates (SSCUI 102611).
  3. Maintain the standard quotation for the exchnage rate for the particular currency pair.
  4. Save the entry.
