Symptom
You are making the attempt to add a new line item to a Sales Order, but the system does not allow you to perform such action as it throws an error message.
Environment

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Sales Orders work center.
- Select the Sales Orders view.
- Search for the ID ABC (ABC represents the ID of the Sales Order).
- Click Edit button.
- Navigate to the Items tab.
- Click Add Row button.
Error message: Item XX: Adding Material items for b2b Sales Order is not allowed (XX represents the line item ID).
Cause
The Sales Order you are trying to add the new item is a A2A order, meaning, it belongs to an Intercompany scenario between Purchase Order and Sales Order.
For intercompany Sales Orders, the items always flows from the Purchase Order.
Resolution
This is the system expected behavior.
