2908392 - Warehouse Requests For Cancelled Outbound Deliveries Have Different Status

Symptom

You observe that some of the Warehouse Requests for already cancelled Outbound Deliveries are listed in the system with status Finished but others have a status: Cancelled.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the work center Outbound Delivery Control.
  2. View Customer Demand.
  3. Find the document ABC (ABC represents the exact ID of the document you are searching for).
  4. Click the Edit button.
  5. Navigate to the Document Flow tab.
  6. Select the Extended View.

Result: you will see that some of the Warehouse Requests in the scenario are in status Finished and others are Cancelled, even though their respective Outbound Deliveries are Cancelled.

Cause

Once the Outbound Delivery is cancelled the Warehouse Order and Request go to Finished state.

Most importantly, after the Warehouse Request goes to Finished state and then the Warehouse Request is Rejected (by clicking Reject Request), the status of the Warehouse Request changes to Cancelled, therefore some of the documents have Finished status and others are displayed as Cancelled.

Resolution

This is the expected and correct behaviour of the system.
