I created an extension that includes a method for CDM and LDM that takes a minute or two to run. It includes a Progress Dialogue to shows PD is executing it. When accessing the non-computed extended attribute the dialogue stays visible until the end. If you output the computed extended attribute the dialogue disappears as soon as you access it.
