2908672 - max_shared_memory, service_threads, pll_scan_threads are set to 0 in the .cfg file for Backup Server - SAP ASE 16.0 SP03

Symptom

  • A brand new Backup Server .cfg file is created after upgrade from ASE 16.0 SP02 PL04 HF1 to ASE 16.0 SP03 PL08.
  • Some parameters in this .cfg file are set to 0 (zero):

service_threads=0
max_shared_memory=0
pll_scan_threads=0

  • None of these parameters is used in the RUN file for Backup Server, so they are expected to be set to DEFAULT.
  • These parameters are not covered under SAP CR 820449 documented in KBA 2907191.
