Now you can search for People by EC name Field in Global Header other than the first name, last name and username box using the following name fields.

You can now turn it on by yourself instead of contacting SAP Implementation Partners or SAP Support as this is available in System UI.

Note : As these alternate fields appear for only customers with active Employee Central, this change will have effect only if the customer have Employee Central properly enabled.

• Formal Name
• Alternative Formal Name
• Preferred Name
• Display Name
• Alternative Display Name
• Second Last Name
• Alternative First Name
• Alternative Last Name
• Alternative Middle Name
• Partner Name

Steps to enable Search People by Employee Central Name Fields in Admin center 

• Login to your instance and Go to Admin Center.  

• Search Logo in Tool search and select Company System and Logo Settings

• Search "Search People by Employee Central Name Fields " and enable.

• Click on Save.
