• "A bad request was made to SAP Analytics Cloud agent" error happens when trying to import large data set from SAP Universe in SAP Analytics Cloud
• The error is seen when the data set is large (e.g. 300,000 rows * 100 columns). If the data volume is small then no error happens.

1. Set and configure Import universe connection in SAP Analytics Cloud.
2. Create a Import Universe query, make sure the query will return big data volume. (e.g. more than 300,000 rows and 100 columns)
3. Run the query and finally the query failed as A bad request was made to SAP Analytics Cloud agent

For the Tomcat where SAP Analytics Cloud Agent is deployed, the parameter Maximum memory pool is too small to allow big data acquisition.

Increase the Maximum memory pool parameter of Apache Tomcat to higher value.
