2909577 - ADSO API does not release the lock if the update fails due to duplicate key violation

Symptom

One of the two API-s below are used to update a "Direct Update" aDSO:

  • RSDSO_DU_WRITE_API
  • RSDSO_DU_CLEANUP_API_RFC

When the update fails due to duplicate key violation the next attempt to run the API is hanging and provides the message:

  • RSPM107 Data target &1(&2) is locked by process &3 (internal &4)
