2909578 - No Items Found to Create Mashups in Solution Template from SDK

Symptom

 You are unable to find any items to create a mashup file from SDK in a Solution Template.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud Applications Studio
  • SAP Business ByDesign
  • SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAP Cloud Applications Studio.
  2. Open the Solution Template.
  3. Right-click on Solution Explorer and select Add new Items
  4. Select Mashups and Web services.
  5. The list is empty to select any item. 

Cause

This is because you can't switch on the admin mode for a solution template. Therefore you can't create a mashup in a solution template.

Resolution

You need to upload the solution template to a customer specific solution to create Mash-Up objects.
