2909658 - Error Message: "Item AA: No suitable template found for entitlement XYZ, distribution chain XX."

You are creating a Sales Order and the document gets inconsistent due to an error: "Item AA: No suitable template found for entitlement XYZ, distribution chain XX."

• AA represents the line item ID.
• XYZ represents the entitlement ID.
• XX represents the distribution chain code.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to the Sales Orders view.
3. Search for: ABC (ABC represents the ID of the Sales Order).
4. Click on Edit button.
5. The following error message appears: Item AA: No suitable template found for entitlement XYZ, distribution chain XX.

Once you add an entitlement of Item Group ETCS – Entitlements in Contract Sales, a related Contract Template is determined and a contract automatically created when you release the sales order.

It means that, it's necessary to create a Contract Template with the entitlement of Item Group ETCS.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to the Contract Templates view.
3. Click on New button, then Contract Template. 
4. In the General tab:

• Add the Entitlement in the field: Sold via Entitlement
• Add the Sales Unit and Distribution Channel.

Note that, this Item Group ETCS is not supported in the Items tab of Contract Template
