Symptom

  • The following create function replication definition (repdef) failed.

    • create funcation replication definition <function_rep>
      with primary at PDS.PDB (@col1 int,  @ col2 image)

    • Msg 15211, Level 12, State 0:
      Server 'PRS', Text and image data types are invalid for parameters in a function.
      rs_create_repdefs: unexpected error encountered, unable to continue.
