2910523 - Displayed Account Name is Different From the Value Maintained in Account Name field

You have maintained "Account Name" field with value "ABC", but you found the Account Name is displayed as "ABC DEF" in the Account OWL.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Account Management work center.
2. Select Accounts view.
3. Select Account ABC DEF (Where ABC DEF stands for Account Name).

In the Account Editor screen, you can find "Account Name" field is only maintained with value "ABC" and you are unable to find any field that maintained with value "DEF".

"Additional Name" field of the account is maintained with value "DEF" and the Displayed Account Name shows "Account Name" + "Additional Name". "Additional Name" field may be hidden via Adapataion mode.

You can also check "Additional Name" field in Business Partner view.

You can remove the value in Additional Name field to make the displayed account name the same that in Account Name field.
