Symptom

  • One-Many and One-One Relationships, and inheritances are drawn between entities in a Conceptual Data Model (CDM) or Logical Data Model (LDM) diagram.
  • Using top-down hierarchical layout, the child entity is placed in a relationship below the parent entity.
  • Using top-down hierarchical layout, the parent entity is placed in an inheritance below the child entities: the parent entity should be placed above the children.
