Symptom
Users experience connectivity issues in the SAP Cloud Connector (SCC) High Available (HA) setup. After the implementation, the Shadow Instance's status is displayed as "Disconnected" and the instance cannot establish a connection with the Master Instance. In the "User Interface", an error message appears stating, "Cloud Connector on <hostname> does not respond. Check host and port and ensure that the Cloud Connector is running."
The Shadow SCC's trace file displays several warning entries including:
[...]
WARN#com.sap.scc.ha#http-bio-8443-exec-2# #PingToMaster failure com.sap.scc.ha.HaHttpClientException: partner does not respond
[...]
Caused by java.net.UnknownHostException: <hostname>
