2910622 - Exchange Rates Template: The Value '' of The Field 'Valid From' is Invalid

You cannot upload New Exchange rate Excel due to the error message:

 "The value '' of the field 'Valid From' is invalid."

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Login to the SAP Business ByDesign system.
2. Open the Microsoft Excel file you want to upload.
3. Navigate to the SAP Business ByDesign tab.
4. Login to SAP Business ByDesign from Microsoft Excel.
5. Click Save Data to.

You get the error message "The value '' of the field 'Valid From' is invalid."

For solving the issue, you need to download a fresh exchange rate template and fill in the details by typing them in (do not copy paste).

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to the Microsoft Office® Template Maintenance subview in the Business Flexibility view.
3. Search and select the "New Exchange Rates" template.
4. Click Download.
5. Open the Microsoft Excel file New Exchange Rates.
6. Enter the data by typing in.
7. Click Save.
8. Navigate to the SAP Business ByDesign tab.
9. Login to SAP Business ByDesign from Microsoft Excel.
10. Click Save Data to.

The File is uploaded without any issues.

1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
2. Go to the Edit Exchange Rates subview in the Common Tasks view.

The new exchange rates are visible.
