2910840 - Min and Max Values fields are missing in Picklist Center

When trying to edit or create picklist values inside Picklist Center, we are unable to see the min value and max value fields.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Go to Picklist Center;
2. Open the picklist you want to edit;
3. Create or click to edit any picklist value;
4. Can't find the min value and max value fields.

We have three possible causes for that:

1. The visibility of the fields is set to not show in the Picklist-values object definition;
2. The Picklist-values object is set as secured and the user does not have permission to see the min and max values fields;
3. Some change was applied to the object Picklist-values and it didn't sync to Picklist Center.

Considering that we have three possible causes for the issue, please make sure to do the below checks before reaching Customer Support.

Checking the visibility of the fields:

1. Go to Configure Object Definition;
2. Select Object Definition and the object Picklist Value;
3. Search for the fields min and max value and review the details of them;
4. The visibility needs to be set as "Editable" or "Read only" in order to see them.

Checking if there are permissions related to the fields

1. Go to Configure Object Definition;
2. Select Object Definition and the object Picklist Value;
3. See if the object is set as secured;
4. If yes, go to Manage Permission Roles;
5. Open the role that grants the permission to view it for your user;
6. Find the permission and confirm if there is not any restriction making the fields not visible.

If none of the above troubleshootings have solved the issue, please try clearing the MDF Cache and running the MDF Object Definition to DB sync job, that are both available in Admin Center, as per described in the KBA: 2534674 - How To Fix Inconsistencies In Metadata Framework (MDF).
