Resolution

In b2005 release, the feature is a universal enhancement, which means it is not necessary to grant permission or option to enable.

Pre-requisites:

  1. Receiving user should have permission 'Recruiting Permissions -> Standalone Search Permission' to access the Candidate Profile.
  2. Receiving user should have permission 'Recruiting Permissions -> Careers Tab Permission' to access Candidate Tab.
  3. Candidate is active and not deleted/purged or unavailable.
  4. Candidate ID is valid and not deleted.

To open the deep link, the receiving user should be able to access the candidate profile through the Candidate Search in Recruiting -> Candidates.

If you did not comply with any of the mentioned above, an error will be shown for the receiving user.

If the user tampered the candidate profile deep link shared over mail (e.g changes the candidate id or changes the candSecKey), same error will be shown.

Steps on how to send the Candidate Profile Link:

  1. Log in to the instance and go to Recruiting
  2. Select Job Requisition
  3. Navigate to the candidate summary page
  4. Select the application -> click on Actions -> Forward to colleague
  5. Enter the user in Forward To field and click on send
  6. Candidate deep link will be received via email.
