2912089 - Large diagrams take too much time to open in Portal - SAP PD

Symptom

  • Large diagrams containing hundreds of symbols (500+) take minutes to open, which makes PD Web unusable.
  • Error from cmrserver.log:

java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.sybase.cmr.infra.meta.MetaClass.getClassifierID() of a null object returned from com.sybase.cmr.infra.meta.impl.MetaReferenceImpl.getOwnerClass()

  • Errors are raised in the DevTools console:
